I have been friends with Russell for about a decade now. He is a sweet guy, and one of the few friends with whom I can discuss almost anything–even religion. In this chat we discuss, sex, death, free-will, and the first-cause proof of God’s existence.
This is my sister, Linda, whom I love very much. She was adopted into our family when my parents lost my sister Faith at birth due to Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus. It was fun getting to know Linda a little better because we have never talked about religion before.
William is a very gifted visual artist whom I met at the University of Waterloo. We were in different programs, but we were neighbours. His depth and sensitivity made a deep impression on me even then. I’m glad to have reconnected.
Lucy is 17 years old. She is a hard determinist, which is one of the most rationally self-consistent forms of atheism. I really enjoyed our intense debate about the logical necessity of the uncaused first cause.
