Alan Kinsey invited me to discuss my God with Joel Pearson on their “Religious Debate” YouTube channel. I met them both in the comments section of my own channel’s Aron Ra episode. They were friendly and courteous hosts and I really enjoyed the exchange.Continue reading “Catholic vs. Atheist – 2019-02-02 – Joel Pearson”
I met “Philo Theism” when he commented on my Atheist Experience episode (Catholic vs. Atheist – 2017-05-28 – Matt Dillahunty.) He is a bright young man and he has recently discovered the depth and wisdom of the “ancients” of western philosophy. I really enjoyed our chat.

Dr. Fleming is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Western Sydney University, Australia. He describes himself as “Catholic among the secular, and secular among Catholics”. I spent most of our time picking his brain about philosophy. Good times.
I met Shaun through his younger brother Dylan Maxwell, whom I interviewed in 2016. Shaun is an affable family man. He earned both his Masters degree and his Ph.D in Philosophy, with an emphasis on the nature of consciousness. He is currently writing a book on the Freedom of the Will.
I met Zvi Leve through Facebook. He is a secular Jew. His interests relate to trying to understand how people interact with their built environment and the role of technology in shaping behaviour. For fun he likes arguing with libertarians. I enjoyed our lively chat.
I met Uzi on Facebook. I could tell that he was a firecracker with a lot to say about religion and life in general. He did not disappoint. A warm, generous, loving man with a lot of energy and a tough practical ethics. It was a lot of fun meeting him.
Lucy is 17 years old. She is a hard determinist, which is one of the most rationally self-consistent forms of atheism. I really enjoyed our intense debate about the logical necessity of the uncaused first cause.
Sharon is a Raelian Guide. I heard her speak at the Raelian Gathering where I first met and interviewed another Guide, André Julien. I requested this second interview because I enjoyed meeting everyone that I met there. I was warmly received once again.
I met André Julien through the Montreal Raelian meetup. I attended a monthly gathering in Longueuil and then we did our interview in a noisy fast-food restaurant.
Alex is from Australia. We met for the first time at a “Skeptics in the Pub” meetup, and then he joined my Catholic vs. meetup group. For this interview we chatted in his kitchen while drinking beer and eating chips.
