Catholic vs. Other – 2018-11-28 – Philo Theism

I met “Philo Theism” when he commented on my Atheist Experience episode (Catholic vs. Atheist – 2017-05-28 – Matt Dillahunty.) He is a bright young man and he has recently discovered the depth and wisdom of the “ancients” of western philosophy. I really enjoyed our chat.

I met Zvi Leve through Facebook. He is a secular Jew. His interests relate to trying to understand how people interact with their built environment and the role of technology in shaping behaviour. For fun he likes arguing with libertarians. I enjoyed our lively chat.

Catholic vs. Atheist – 2017-05-21 – Lucy

Lucy is 17 years old. She is a hard determinist, which is one of the most rationally self-consistent forms of atheism. I really enjoyed our intense debate about the logical necessity of the uncaused first cause.

Catholic vs. Other – 2017-04-22 – Sharon Shanti

Sharon is a Raelian Guide. I heard her speak at the Raelian Gathering where I first met and interviewed another Guide, André Julien. I requested this second interview because I enjoyed meeting everyone that I met there. I was warmly received once again.

  • Catholic vs. Protestant - 2019-01-26 - Post Mortem January 30, 2019
I never expected a self-proclaimed Christian, much less one who has experience debating, to hang up on me mid conversation; but that's what happened when I asked this guy why he rejects the doctrine of the Real Presence.

  • CVS Meta - 2019-01-03 - Solipsism and playing hard to get January 4, 2019
This episode was inspired by two very different CVS listeners, John Revell and Robert White. I talk about solipsism and the irrational abuse of our freedom and every other good gift from our loving God, who is, in spite of our selfish tantrums, courting us with limitless patience. The bottom line: get over yourself, and […]
